I can not live without my protein smoothies, especially now that I am pregnant and feel like drinking my food is easier then eating sometimes. I always use a high quality vanilla whey protein, some unsweetened almond milk and vary the fruits each day in my smoothie to benefit from the nutrients that each type of fruit gives me.

Hey thanks for this list of smoothie ingredients. These are all great ingredients and something I never use is whey protein, is this something you’d add only if you are working out? I have also never tried adding chocolate milk, now this sounds like something worth trying next time I bring out the blender!

Ok! This list makes me feel like a smoothie pro. I always use bananas, blueberries and peanut butter. And mangos if the store has frozen ones. I really love the frozen fruit options because it is so convenient. I jjst dump them in a blender and then blend it all up. The frozen fruit adds water and then I add in plant milk for a little more smooth texture. But don’t do a lot or it will become fruit soup! Lol
